Vandana Sabha
Although we are future focused, at Takshashila, our foundations are deeply rooted in tradition. We honor our values while embracing the pace of progress. Before classes begin, we organize a 'Vandana Sabha,' a special and purposeful assembly that sets a positive tone for the day. We offer our prayers to Mata Saraswati, Acharya Chanakya and Bharat Mata, seeking their blessings and guidance.
The Vandana Sabha begins with the lighting of the lamp, The Deep Prajwalan Mantra ignites the Agni Tattva, one of the Panch Mahabhutas (five great elements), awakening the inner fire that from Darkness, lead us to Light. This is followed by prayers in Sanskrit and Hindi, accompanied by the melodious sounds of musical instruments, all dedicated to Mata Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom and learning. Vibrations of Chanting the "Om" together resonate deeply, bringing a sense of calm, focus, and connection with the universe. The Gayatri Mantra, a prayer for the awakening of wisdom and the purification of the mind, body, and soul chanted during the morning assembly to bring clarity, strength, and divine protection. We then, offer our prayer to Bharat Mata. The Vandana Sabha concludes with the resonating vibrations of Shanti Mantra to invoke peace across all dimensions of existence, from the Earth to the cosmos and on all levels - physical, mental, and spiritual.
This practice not only instills strong moral values in students but also enhances their concentration and selfconfidence. It nurtures discipline while fostering feelings of patriotism, respect, and loyalty toward their motherland, parents, and teachers.
